The Royal Mint sent me a brief to design their very first piggy bank. It was a real privilege to work with The Royal Mint as they are a prestigious brand with a rich history that spans 1100 years.

I wanted the Piggy bank to have an iconic shape so I looked at Picasso's animal line drawings for inspiration.  It was really important Minty had a contemporary and unique shape so I designed his profile to be beautifully flat with very crisp shape edges. 

As The Royal Mint are experts in producing beautifully crafted in the finest materials, it was a fantastic opertunity to work with the team and bring Minty to life.
